About Kalanchoe Games

Kalanchoe Games was started by founder and lead developer Katelyn Laurel in 2025.

Coming from a painterly background, Katelyn first started creating characters by hand-painting them individually with gouache and watercolors. The characters for The Threat of a Eulogy were first painted back in 2022. In the time since then, she’s refined her digital art and programming skills to be able to build Kalanchoe Games into the indie game studio it is today.
